Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based environment near Belmont, NH. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students' communication needs and providing impactful intervention within educational settings. Leverage your SLP expertise while collaborating with a dynamic school team, including involvement in virtual (Voco) therapy platforms and coordination with additional support professionals.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license for the state of New Hampshire Prior experience in school-based SLP settings is highly preferred Comfortable using teletherapy technology and willing to integrate virtual instruction (Voco) Proven ability to manage a caseload, conduct assessments, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs within a school setting Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services, both in-person and virtually Create and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Maintain accurate progress reports and documentation as required by school policies Consult with teachers, parents, and other allied professionals to promote student success Participate in team meetings, including collaboration with support staff and Voco therapy partners
