Job Description
Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting an engaging PreK caseload in a school-based environment near Long Valley, NJ. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Hold (or be eligible for) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status; open to new graduates who are eager to learn Experience with pediatric and/or school-based speech-language pathology strongly preferred New Jersey state SLP licensure, or ability to obtain prior to start Solid understanding of early childhood communication disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies Strong skills in collaboration, organization, and communication within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to PreK students with a variety of communication challenges Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech-language development and maximize educational outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning discussions Communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and recommendations
