Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Orange, NJ

Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students through expert speech and language services. This onsite role offers a dynamic setting where your clinical expertise and commitment to helping children communicate will make a meaningful difference.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New Jersey CCC-SLP certification required Previous experience working as a school-based SLP Strong understanding of childhood speech, language, and communication disorders Effective collaboration and communication skills with teachers, parents, and other staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students within a school environment Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns Conduct evaluations and document progress in accordance with state and district guidelines Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support students' academic and social success Participate in IEP meetings, contribute professional insight, and maintain accurate reports and records Deliver services onsite and support a positive learning experience for every child on your caseload
