Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic school environment. Two exciting contract opportunities are available for passionate professionals eager to provide impactful speech and language services. These positions are conveniently located in a welcoming educational community near Penns Grove, NJ.
Available SLP Opportunities:
Full-time position (Monday-Friday) supporting a PreK/Kindergarten building Part-time (3-5 days/week) within a 4th/5th grade building
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based pediatric setting is highly valued Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Passion for helping children develop effective communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations tailored to students' needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans anchored in IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success Monitor progress and provide regular documentation and updates Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input to multidisciplinary teams Support and empower students to reach their fullest potential through evidence-based strategies
