School Speech Language Pathologist - Woodbridge, New Jersey

Job Description

This contract opportunity places you in a thriving school environment, guiding students as they work to achieve their communication goals. Youll collaborate with fellow professionals, providing targeted interventions to help learners develop essential speech, language, and social communication abilities.
Qualifications:
Valid SLP license in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working in a school setting preferred Strong commitment to collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families Ability to tailor therapy and interventions to individual developmental needs Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat various speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress toward treatment goals Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student participation and success Provide both direct and consultative services as required by IEPs Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines Participate in meetings, student reviews, and parent consultations as needed
