Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time role supporting K-12 students across 3-4 campuses in the vibrant Las Vegas area. This contract opportunity invites passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential therapy services, making a daily impact in students' academic and personal growth. You'll work with a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through high school, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure every student's voice is heard. What you'll need to succeed:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP process, assessment tools, and current best practices in therapy Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students across multiple campuses
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in the IEP process
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Deliver both individual and group sessions to address communication challenges
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50-63, allowing you to grow your career while enjoying the energy and excitement of life in the Las Vegas area.
