Job Description
Speech-Language Pathologist (Full-Time) Bornhava is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support young children in our Preschool Special Education and Early Intervention programs. This full-time position provides services to children ages 18 months to 5 years across multiple program sites. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, evaluate, and provide individualized therapy services to support each child's communication development and overall success.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting speech, language, and communication evaluations. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy programs. Providing direct speech-language therapy services. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to support communication goals across settings. Monitoring progress and maintaining appropriate documentation. Participating as a member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized goals and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. New York State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with young children and children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
