Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing leave coverage at the elementary level for the upcoming fall. You'll play a crucial part in supporting students, educators, and families as you deliver direct therapy and guidance throughout this assignment.
Key Information:
Coverage dates: September 8, 2026 - October 30, 2026, with potential extension through December Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 2:30pm
Full-time:
32.5 hours per week, 40 sessions (30 minutes each) weekly Elementary school setting
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license and certifications for school-based SLP work Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings highly preferred Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Enthusiasm for creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions for elementary students Conduct screenings, assessments, and interpret results to guide intervention planning Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, documenting progress Consult with teachers and parents to share strategies and progress updates Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance and confidentiality standards Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students Discover the rewards of making a daily difference in students' lives—this assignment blends structured hours with meaningful, hands-on impact, in a supportive school community.
