Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community. Your clinical expertise will be instrumental in helping children achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) Valid state licensure as required Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication evaluations for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs Deliver engaging therapy sessions—both individual and group—to enhance students' language, speech, and social-pragmatic skills Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Offer support and resources to families, empowering them to reinforce strategies at home
