Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and parents Support school teams with advice on communication needs, classroom strategies, and student progress Document sessions, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Enjoy the flexibility and rewards of a contract position, where youll have opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning in a supportive school environment devoted to student success.
