Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite with preschool-aged learners in a supportive educational environment. This full-time, year-round position is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (holding CCC credentials) who is eager to work hands-on with students presenting a range of non-verbal, developmental delay, and speech improvement needs. Two flexible start dates are available—beginning July 27 or September 8—with the contract extending through the next school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Previous work with preschool or early childhood populations strongly preferred Familiarity with communication disorders, non-verbal methods, and developmental delays Able to develop individualized plans and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing onsite therapy services in a school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of preschool students Address non-verbal, speech improvement, and developmental delay needs with evidence-based interventions Create, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Track student progress through data collection and regular reporting Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to maximize each child's communication potential Participate in team meetings and contribute to child study discussions This role offers a lively, interactive setting near Glenville, NY, with daytime hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference.
