School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services within a school-based setting near Fairport, NY. This full-time position is set to begin on September 8, 2026, and is expected to extend through the school year or potentially until the position is permanently filled. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential required Experience in a K-12 school or pediatric setting preferred Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and state/federal education requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language interventions to students as outlined in IEPs Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with all guidelines Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide training or resources for school personnel, as needed This is a fantastic chance to make a positive impact while enjoying the flexibility and variety that a contract position offers.
