Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist/Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic center-based program. This Speech role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to diverse pediatric patient in a preschool setting. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver and collaborate closely with classroom teachers, other healthcare professionals, and families/caregivers. This paid Speech Language Pathologist position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their expertise in speech-language pathology while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children. Duties Provide speech therapy sessions to preschool-aged children in a supportive and collaborative center-based program. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans and sessions tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. Deliver engaging therapy sessions in-person utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills and speech production. Collaborate with teachers, other healthcare professionals, and families/caregivers to ensure carryover to promote student success and progress. Maintain accurate daily documentation treatment sessions per Medicaid regulations using CPSE Portal. Monitor and report on progress quarterly and write annual reviews for IEP development. Educate team members and families on communication strategies, physiology of speech mechanisms, and techniques to support ongoing progress at home or in school settings including use of AAC tools. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology by participating in continuing education opportunities and adhering to best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of pediatrics and working with children with speech or language impairments and persons with a diagnosis of ASD or global delays. Experience and understanding of comprehensive speech and language normative data and age expected skills. Proficiency in implementing speech therapy plans across diverse populations, including those with disabilities or developmental delays. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with parents, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to interpret medical terminology and reports. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
