Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible New York State SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates strongly encouraged Previous experience working with children in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to cultivating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy, up to 40 sessions per week (30 minutes each), in alignment with student IEP goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting a range of communication needs Complete assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize intervention strategies Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines Foster a safe and engaging environment that promotes student success This position runs from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through Thursday, June 24, 2027, with daily hours from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, designed to support work-life balance.
