The role spans from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through Thursday, June 24, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM. This is your chance to deliver meaningful interventions with a manageable caseloadno more than 40 sessions (30 minutes each) per weekallowing you to focus on high-quality support for students language and communication needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required Hold a valid SLP license in the state of New York ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply Experience working in K-12 educational settings or special education environments highly valued Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Passion for fostering inclusive learning and empowering diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document assessments, session notes, and progress reports in accordance with school standards Develop and implement creative therapy materials to engage students Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing program planning
