Job Description

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable Prior experience in school-based settings, particularly working with diverse student populations Strong collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to manage a varied caseload, document progress, and tailor intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred through the special education process Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services to support students integration within classroom environments Document ongoing progress, maintain accurate case files, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions to optimize student outcomes Educate and provide resources to families and staff to foster students communication development Stay updated with best practices in speech therapy and incorporate evidence-based methods Enjoy the flexibility of a contract role that values your expertise, allowing you to focus on student growth and meaningful interventions throughout the school year.
