Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a fulfilling contract opportunity working with a small student caseload near Putnam Station, NY! If you are a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) passionate about supporting communication and language development in school-aged children, consider bringing your expertise to this engaging setting. This role involves providing speech therapy services to 12-15 students, utilizing both group and individualized strategies to meet their diverse needs. With a flexible schedule of just a few hours a day, twice per week, you'll be able to maintain an excellent work-life balance while making a genuine impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active (or eligibility for) state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans based on student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and provide evidence-based therapy Deliver group sessions as well as individualized intervention for students as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation for each student and contribute to IEP meetings Collaborate with educational teams, families, and school staff to support student progress Monitor and adjust intervention plans based on ongoing assessment and student response In this flexible contract position, you'll get the chance to empower students and work collaboratively with supportive educational professionals—all while enjoying a manageable commitment that fits your schedule.
