Job Summary Sign on bonus depebdent on expereince for new hire. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a strong background in early intervention. Experience with feeding therapy/pediatric dysphagia preferred but not required, will provide training opportunities. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in pediatric patients, with a focus on strategies in an outpatient clinic setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities in pediatric patients from birth to 21. Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessment results and individual patient needs. Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills in children. Experience in pediatric therapy is preferred but not required. Collaborate with families/caregivers and other healthcare providers to support patient care and educational goals. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate families about speech and language development, as well as strategies to support their child's communication skills at home. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards. Requirements Degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Familiarity with early intervention practices for children with speech and language delays. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating strong patient care skills.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
