Qualifications and Credentials:

Possession of valid New York SLP License TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) required Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) as well as those with CCC-SLP certification Previous school-based experience or a passion for working within the elementary age group

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that foster academic and social success Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to ensure effective communication strategies across settings Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group formats Serve as a resource for colleagues and caregivers, offering support and guidance as needed
