9668994-12189 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract position supporting K-5 students in a collaborative school environment near Watervliet, NY. This role primarily focuses on providing quality speech-language services with a small caseload, ensuring each child receives individualized attention. Youll work closely with two other Speech-Language Pathologists while splitting your time6 FTE primarily, complemented by a small 0.4 FTE placement. The contract extends from as soon as possible through June 25th, with potential (but not guaranteed) opportunities to continue into summer school.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist CCC-SLP or CFY status welcome Experience working in schools or K-5 settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt service delivery to a varied student population

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy and support for a small K-5 caseload Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with a team of existing SLPs, teachers, and support staff Maintain accurate records and progress notes Support students in both individual and group settings Communicate progress and recommendations to families and school teams This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive environment, working to help young students achieve their communication goals.
