Job Description

Step into a rewarding and impactful contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working onsite in a dynamic educational setting near West Winfield, NY. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers a balance of evaluation, direct therapy, and consultative services, serving a diverse K-12 caseload. You'll make a genuine difference in students communication skills while collaborating with an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Valid New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged populations, K-12 Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy, both one-on-one and in group settings, for students across grade levels Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to identify students needs and track progress Provide consultative services and recommendations to teachers, administrators, and families Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to intervention planning, and support students IEP goals Stay current with best practices and professional development in school-based speech-language pathology Enjoy the peace of mind of comprehensive benefits, including a competitive weekly pay structure, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
