This contract position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) eager to make a difference in childrens communication and language development. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 25th, offering a focused schedule that allows you to meaningfully connect with students and see visible progress in their skills.

Schedule and Structure:

Work three days a week, on-site, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Enjoy a 30-minute lunch break each day as you recharge for your sessions. Provide ten 30-minute speech/language sessions daily, each tailored to meet the needs of unique student groups. A total of 28 sessions per week, serving the elementary population at a single campus.

Key Qualifications:

Valid SLP-CCC required, with experience in school-based settings. Proven ability to work effectively with elementary students exhibiting a range of communication needs, including those who are non-verbal. Strong interpersonal skills and a teaching style that engages young learners. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, to better support the diverse community and enhance student access to services. Must be available for in-person sessions; remote options are not offered.

Design and deliver therapeutic speech and language sessions in accordance with IEPs and student goals. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create individualized strategies.
