This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team at the PEP Prentiss Autism Center, providing essential speech-language pathology services to students with moderate to severe autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Immediate start is availablemake a difference for the remainder of the school year and potentially extend into year-round service.
Qualifications and Experience:
Holds a valid Ohio SLP license Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in a school-based setting preferred Prior caseloads including students with ASD, with deep understanding of evidence-based practices for autism Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders for students with ASD Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educational staff and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings Regularly track student progress and update documentation according to school protocols Offer in-service training and consultation to teachers, aides, and classroom teams to optimize communication supports Embrace opportunities for ongoing professional development This position offers you a dynamic, supportive environment to expand your expertise and directly impact student learning.
