Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience: Hold a current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working within schools or pediatric settings preferred Skilled in assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing evidence-based interventions Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs and grade levels Key responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements Participate actively in IEP meetings and help set measurable goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to maximize student outcomes Facilitate group or one-on-one therapy sessions within the school setting Provide consultation and training for staff regarding speech and language support This contract position offers valuable professional growth, a supportive atmosphere, and the satisfaction of supporting students in reaching their communication milestones.
