Care Plan:
Evaluate residents to pinpoint their speech, language, and swallowing needs, crafting custom therapy plans that bring back their seasonal smiles and independence.
Pumpkin Pie Safety Inspector:
Recommend adaptive gear, teach aspiration prevention strategies, and ensure everyone can safely enjoy holiday meals and autumn treats. Coach the
Crew:
Team up with Nursing to train Restorative Aides, run fun staff in-services, and guide our energetic Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLP students. Keep the Team in the
Loop:
Gather around the table with physicians, nurses, and families for care conferences, rehab huddles, and discharge planning. Dot the i's & Cross the t's: Keep documentation fresh, accurate, and prompt in systems like Net Health and PointClickCare. What You Bring to the
Table The Credentials:
Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology plus an active state SLP license in great standing.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable navigating PointClickCare and Net Health as easily as a corn maze.
Autumn Energy:
Top-notch communication skills, practical math for clinical needs, and sharp problem-solving skills to navigate any puzzle.
Heavy Lifting:
Ready to stand, walk, reach, and lift (sometimes pumpkin-heavy loads over 50+ lbs!) using safe handling practices to keep residents moving safely.
Pay:
