Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements Effective collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Ability to develop targeted therapy plans based on students' unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and support intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, session notes, and evaluations Offer recommendations and resources for classroom accommodations and modifications Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student achievement
