Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing high-quality speech-language pathology services in an engaging Pre-K environment near Reynoldsburg, OH. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support preschool students during the 2026-2027 school year within a collaborative and inclusive setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring strategies tailored for early learners Familiarity with Ohio school guidelines and IEP processes Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans for speech and language development
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for Pre-K students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to foster communication and language growth Provide direct and indirect services through group and one-on-one settings at the Pickerington PK Program Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP development and reviews Monitor student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed Communicate proactively with educators and families to ensure coordinated support This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with the chance to work on-site in a welcoming early childhood environment.
