Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by sharing your expertise as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about fostering communication skills in a supportive educational environment. You'll provide direct speech therapy services two days per week in a general education setting.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is highly valued Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with teachers, staff, and families Efficient documentation and progress reporting abilities
What You'll Do:
Deliver engaging and effective speech-language therapy to students in elementary and general education classrooms Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to address students' IEP goals Present assessment findings and therapy approaches to colleagues, including Savannah and Jordan Create individualized treatment plans based on student assessments Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to educational teams and families Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports students' communication growth Benefits of this
