School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Youngstown, Ohio

Job Description

Make an impact in young lives while advancing your career as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a dynamic school community. This contract position offers a balanced blend of in-person and remote work—enjoy four days onsite and one day working from home each week. You'll join a supportive educational team dedicated to fostering communication, academic achievement, and social success for students of varying abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid Ohio SLP license or eligibility for licensure Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs Deliver therapy services to caseload, both individually and in small groups Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches as needed Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers and parents to support each student's learning goals Provide consultative support and resources to staff and families Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
