Position Summary Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position based in McAlester, OK with travel to surrounding communities including Ada, Prague, and Atoka. Role supports a school setting and operates under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, documenting progress, assisting with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, and collaborating with families and school staff. Minimum Requirements Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent education required. Current state SLPA certification, licensure, or registration as required by Oklahoma for practice. Experience working under the supervision of a licensed SLP, preferably in school or pediatric settings. Experience with documentation and progress monitoring in educational settings. Ability to travel between McAlester, Ada, Prague, and Atoka as part of regular job duties. Clear background check as required for school-based positions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and school collaboration.
