Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF) in a welcoming educational community near Ponca City, OK. This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to make a significant impact on elementary students, helping them develop essential communication skills within a supportive learning environment. The assignment begins ASAP with work hours from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, including a dedicated 30-minute lunch break each day. You will work closely with a caseload of approximately 50 elementary students in grades PK-5 who have primarily mild to moderate articulation and language needs. All students spend most of their day in a general education classroom and benefit from tailored pull-out or push-in therapy services.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in Oklahoma (SLP or Clinical Fellow accepted) Experience with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, parents, and fellow therapists Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans focused on language and articulation Commitment to supporting students in the general education setting through inclusive therapeutic approaches
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students (PK-5) Complete assessments, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required Implement both pull-out and push-in service models to maximize student success Track progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support students' educational goals This position offers a dynamic environment, the support of a multidisciplinary team, and a predictable schedule that aligns with the school calendar.
