Qualifications & Experience:
Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience or strong interest in school settings, specifically with elementary (K-5) students Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for various speech, language, and communication disorders Strong interpersonal communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to create engaging, individualized interventions that help students reach their goals
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to K-5 students within a supportive school setting Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication needs Develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual student goals as outlined in IEPs Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom Maintain up-to-date records and progress reports to share with families and educational teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal setting and progress monitoring This contract position allows for a four-day workweek, letting you balance a fulfilling role with your personal commitments.
