Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Set in Oakridge, you'll work across multiple buildings within a friendly, K-12 school community. This assignment is described as "easy," with well-behaved students—primarily at the elementary and high school levels—allowing you to focus on impactful, meaningful therapy without challenging behavioral concerns. This full-time role offers the chance to make a direct difference, replacing a current virtual SLP position with essential, hands-on services. You will enjoy a collaborative environment while helping children enhance their communication and academic participation. What we're seeking: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current, active SLP licensure (state requirements met) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Recent experience in a school setting, preferably K-12 Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude Ability to work effectively across elementary and high school student populations Flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic school environment Your primary responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students as assigned Develop and implement treatment plans that align with student IEPs Conduct assessments, generate progress documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals Support students' academic and social success by addressing communication challenges Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports This contract offers a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week in a welcoming, school-based setting.
