Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - North Plains, OR

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing essential speech-language therapy services in an educational setting. A contract opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in managing school-based caseloads and equipped with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Your expertise in communication disorders will help support students' academic and social development.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to tailor interventions to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student population Develop and implement IEP goals and therapeutic plans aligned with educational objectives Maintain thorough and timely progress documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student learning and success Conduct screenings and provide preventative interventions as needed Participate in student support meetings and contribute expertise to team discussions This contract position presents an excellent opportunity to further your professional growth while making a tangible impact within school communities.
