Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners! Qualifications & Experience:
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure as required for practice Experience working with early elementary students (K-1st grade preferred) Strong communication and collaboration abilities Proven ability to assess, develop, and implement effective treatment plans Familiarity with school-based IEP processes considered an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to approximately 20 K-1st grade students Conduct assessments to identify students' speech/language needs Develop and document individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families Participate in parent meetings and contribute to student progress reports Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state documentation requirements You'll benefit from a flexible part-time schedule, a supportive school environment, and the satisfaction of making an impact on children's academic and communication development.
