Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Calling on SLPs with a passion for working with students aged 3-5! Soliant is working with an early childhood Special Education program in Berrysubrg, PA, and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support kids in the region.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders SLP license issued by Pennsylvania Board of Speech Language Pathology SLP certificate issued by the
Department of Education Pay and Benefits:
Hourly, W2 pay of $50 to $60/hr Health, Vision and Dental insurance Employer-matched 401(k) plan Paid sick leave As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, a candidate's principal duties include: Evaluating and treating children whose communication issues (in areas such as language, articulation, fluency) impact their educational performance Reporting on student progress and/or developing goals as part of their Individual Education Plan Proposing amendments to IEPs if needed, or recommending that students be released from speech services when they meet their communication goals Participating in the MTSS or RTI process (Multi-tiered systems of support, or Response to Intervention) if needed Consulting with District staff and parents about student goals and progress Caseload details will be shared in an interview with program co-ordinators, after a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives. Knowledge, skills and abilities: We seek applicants who have appropriate clinical knowledge of speech therapy in an education setting and experience with the IEP process. Additionally, candidates need to have excellent writing and communication skills, for the purposes of recording and reporting on student's current abilities and their long-term goals. Strong interpersonal skills and a collegial outlook are essential to maintaining good communication with students, families, and staff members.
