  • Services must take place in person at the school Position Summary As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide in-person speech and language services to school students in Harrisburg, PA, full or part time hours.
You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and hearing disorders while supporting students in meeting and exceeding the Pennsylvania Learning Standards. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and deliver effective, compliant educational services. Responsibilities # Schedule / Shift

Key Duties:
  • Provide speech, language, communication, and hearing services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and annually review IEPs; participate in Child Study Team meetings and parent conferences
  • Maintain accurate records, therapy data, evaluations, reports, and required documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, outside agencies, and related service providers; recommend assistive technology and communication supports as needed Requirements # Education
  • Required:
    Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field # Licenses & Certifications
Required:
Valid Pennsylvania Educational Services Certificate and Speech Language Specialist board license
Skills:
  • Ability to evaluate, provide therapy, and develop strategies for the prevention and remediation of speech, language, and hearing disorders
  • Knowledge of child development, learning assessment, diagnosis, special education requirements, and current regulations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
