School Speech Language Pathologist *Up to $65/hr

Job Description

School Speech Language Pathologist providing speech and language services in a school setting for a 36-week contract in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to improve student communication and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess student speech and language needs through standardized evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data. Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve speech clarity and language comprehension. Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, plans, and progress. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to align instructional strategies. Advise on classroom accommodations and assistive technology. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on student response. Provide training and support to school staff on communication strategies. Ensure compliance with school and agency policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
1+ year(s) of relevant experience and skills. Background check required. Soft skills suitable for school settings.
