Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic educational setting. Multiple positions are available serving school-aged students across a variety of schools in the surrounding region. Both full-time and part-time schedules are currently open, accommodating professionals seeking flexibility in their work commitments. With placements supporting multiple districts for temporary coverage, the assignment lengths may vary and are not guaranteed for the entire school year.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with valid state licensure and SLP-CCC required Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to the needs of diverse student populations Comfortable working with various age groups and student needs Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well with teams of educators, parents, and related service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic interventions to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments, evaluations, and document progress for a varied caseload Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication goals Maintain accurate records and adhere to established procedures for documentation and reporting Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in speech and language development
