Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across multiple schools in the Philipsburg Osceola area. You'll collaborate with elementary, middle, and high school teams, delivering vital speech therapy services in a dynamic, student-centered environment. With a well-structured caseload, you'll make meaningful impacts as you work closely with diverse student populations. What you'll bring: Current and active PA Teaching Certificate SLP Certificate (Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC, required) Experience delivering therapy across K-12 student populations preferred Ability to manage a caseload split across three different buildings Strong organizational and communication skills Dedication to creating engaging, supportive therapy sessions for both individuals and groups What you'll do: Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 students (30-minute sessions: 16 individual, 37 group) Travel between elementary, middle, and high school buildings within the district Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique needs Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes Work a consistent, full-time schedule (35 hours per week) District guidelines require internal job postings at all times and advance notice will be given if a direct hire is made per union rules.
