Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-8 students in a supportive educational setting near Bishopville, SC. This flexible role focuses on providing speech and language services to a dedicated caseload of approximately 15 students, with most receiving speech-only intervention and 1-2 requiring evaluations. Your expertise will help foster communication growth and academic success in a collaborative school environment—without Medicaid billing responsibilities or extensive behavioral challenges. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Current state licensure (or ability to obtain) Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy SLP services Strong background in articulation and fluency interventions Comfort supporting students on the autism spectrum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organizational strength and adaptability for contract roles Key responsibilities: Provide speech therapy for up to 12 students focused on speech-only needs Conduct 1-2 student evaluations as required Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Document progress and maintain records in accordance with school guidelines Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student achievement Offer guidance and support for IEP meetings Work 1-2 days per week, based on your availability and district needs Utilize evidence-based practices for K-8 population with a focus on articulation and fluency Enjoy the benefit of flexible scheduling that fits your lifestyle while making a true impact in children's lives.
