Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing expert speech-language services in a welcoming school environment. As a contract speech-language pathologist, you'll collaborate with educators and families to help children reach their communication milestones and thrive academically.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Valid SLP state license and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy-planning skills Comfortable designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities Adaptable and able to manage caseloads efficiently in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs among students Develop, document, and execute IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver evidence-based therapy services tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure integrated support for student progress Maintain accurate records and up-to-date progress reports Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development sessions Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
