Job Description

Preferred Background & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered Previous experience in a school setting is a plus Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt interventions to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy using evidence-based practices Regularly monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and professional learning communities Support generalization of communication skills into classroom routines and activities
