Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist CCC to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech therapy services to pediatric patients, focusing on early intervention and developmental needs. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in children, ensuring personalized care that promotes optimal speech, language, and social skills. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing issues in pediatric populations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to support consistent progress. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate families on strategies and exercises to reinforce therapy goals at home. Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric care. Skills Prior experience working with children in school or early intervention settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of pediatrics, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess communication functions comprehensively. Effective communication skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to apply evidence-based speech therapy techniques tailored for early intervention programs. Familiarity with patient assessment tools specific to pediatric populations.
