Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language challenges Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Facilitate engaging therapy sessions targeting articulation, fluency, language, and social communication Maintain precise progress notes and documentation in line with school and state standards Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families to foster a coordinated approach to care Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' speech-language progress Educate families on strategies to support communication development beyond the classroom

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology state licensure

Preferred:

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) seeking school-based experience Previous exposure to pediatric or school-aged populations is strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team You'll have ongoing access to an advisory network with experienced SLPs located in your state, equipping you with immediate support and resources.
