Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting middle and potentially high school students on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference while working onsite three days per week, collaborating closely with faculty and school staff to develop innovative strategies that empower students to reach their communicative potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid CCC-SLP certification required Active state licensure to practice as an SLP Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with middle or high school populations Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills Adaptability to work in both middle and high school environments as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to integrate therapy goals into students' academic plans Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and professional insight Serve as a resource to school staff and families regarding speech-language disorders and intervention strategies Perks of this opportunity include the support of an engaged school system, access to professional resources, and a schedule of three days onsite each week—encouraging work-life balance while continuing to develop your skills and impact the educational journey of your students.
