School Speech Language Pathologist - Manchester, Tennessee

Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity designed for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking flexibility and meaningful impact in a PreK-5th setting. This onsite position supports a caseload of approximately 30 students, providing essential speech and language services within an elementary environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, offering both continuity and professional growth over several school years. While part-time availability (3 days per week) is preferred, full-time candidates are welcome to apply, working between 35-40 hours per week based on mutual fit.
Key Qualifications:
Holds Speech-Language Pathology licensure and SLP-CCC credentials, with experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly desired. Proficient in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans for students from PreK to 5th grade. Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals. Strong organizational and communication skills to maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Must be able to work onsite.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of about 30 PreK-5th grade students. Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver interventions individually and in small groups. Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team. Maintain timely documentation and progress monitoring. Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication and language development.
