Location:
Smyrna, TN Onsite Pay Rate:
$ 1,500 To $ 1,700 per week
Schedule:
Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 4:30
PM Experience:
2 + minimum About the Role We are seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to support students with disabilities participating in vocational training programs. The SLP will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide communication, social interaction, classroom, and vocational support. Responsibilities Collaborate with OT, PT, ST, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Provide classroom strategies related to information processing, social skills, and attention to task. Support students with time management and communication needs. Recommend accommodations related to speech, communication, social interaction, and following multi-step instructions. Provide hands-on support in vocational training areas in collaboration with instructors. Support students at internship sites as needed. Perform SLP-related evaluations and assessments. Provide coverage for other therapists when required. Requirements Speech and Language Pathology qualifications appropriate for the position. Ability to work with students with disabilities in a vocational training environment. Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to provide appropriate communication and learning support strategies. Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.
