Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will create lasting impacts on students lives. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and families, all while helping children develop essential communication skills in a supportive educational setting near New Braunfels, TX.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in Texas (or eligibility for Texas licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered Recent experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability to different school settings and caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families Document progress, maintain accurate student records, and communicate updates to stakeholders Offer consultation and resources to educators and support staff, promoting classroom integration Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
