Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact by providing crucial speech-language assessments to young learners! A contract opportunity is available for a part-time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to offer in-person testing services near Converse, TX. This unique role is designed for approximately 3 to 6 hours per week, focused on evaluating three students under the age of three. You'll bring expertise to early intervention, helping to lay the groundwork for lifelong communication success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP licensure or eligibility in Texas Bilingual proficiency (Spanish and English preferred) SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in school or early childhood settings supporting children with speech and language needs Strong assessment and documentation skills Genuine passion for working with young children and families
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate speech and language evaluations for children under three Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to identify communication needs Prepare clear, accurate evaluation reports to guide service planning Provide culturally responsive assessments for bilingual students Maintain compliance with all state and program requirements Ensure timely scheduling, testing, and feedback to maximize student support You'll enjoy the flexibility of part-time work without sacrificing the satisfaction that comes from transforming the lives of early learners and their families.
